80 posts including key positions vacant in Revenue Deptt Sgr | KNO

Srinagar, Sep 14 (KNO): In the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, Srinagar, at least 80 posts including several key positions are lying vacant in the revenue department. The posts include dozens of Pathwari’s, Tehsildar and Naib Tehsildar. According to the official figures available with the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), in Srinagar district at least 37 posts of Patwari are lying vacant in the revenue department. It also reveals that one post of Tehsildar and five posts of Naib Tehsildar are lying vacant in the district. This information was revealed by the Public Information Officer (PIO) in a reply to Right to Information (RTI) filed by the activist M M Shuja. The PIO further said that 13 posts of Junior Assistant, four posts of senior assistant, 8 posts of Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS), six posts of Girdawar, OQ and BGQ, three posts of WBM and two driver posts were lying vacant in revenue department of Srinagar—(KNO)
